Cool things I saw in the Bahamas Part 1

This was a very interesting and colorful piece of art!

Can anyone identify where this was taken?

Just an observation...

I thought you went to the Bahamas not to Mars? I have seen this there myself. :)

I don't know where it is but it looks like Gilhooly art glass.

That was on the cruise ship. You were seated behind a retiree who should not have gambled on a doo from an experimental hair stylist.

thanks everyone. This was taken in Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. I am not sure what it's called or who the artist is Lynn, I am trying to research and find out.

Thanks again for stopping by. More to come.

Hello, this art looks a lot like Dale Chihuly's glass art. There are three of his pieces at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. I believe your photo is the Atlantis Chandelier, installed in 1998. The other two pieces are: Temple of the Moom, 1998 and Crystal Gate, 1998. I found this info on Dale's website: www.chihuly.com/installations/atlantis/art/at23B.html

Tacoma, Washington, has a Glass Museum with a lot of Dale's work in it. He is from Washington.
