"Not all those who wander are lost." J.R.R. Tolkien
Honey my baby saw this quote and thought of me. I saw this duck and thought of you. Thank you for following my blog.Just an observation...Craig Glenn
It reminds me of one time I picked my husband up at the airport and he had this button which read "I'm lost. Please take me home with you". :)
I love to wander. And lost is only a state of mind.
sounds like a great man quote. I can just see it now. Next vacation, driving to the destination, somehow I should have turned right at Albuquerque. The lovely wife next to me saying I should stop and ask directions. My new reply will be "I'm just wandering. All those that wander is not lost"P.S: bonus to anyone who can give me the other famous quote I used and where it was fromscot
I came here from Curly's Corner...sure am glad that she sent me.Sandi
Joan: M drops me off at the lost and found all the time. I sure am glad she comes back to claim me!Gaelyn: Birds of a feather, I say… M and I were at a state park last Friday and I remember driving around thinking “this has to be the coolest job in the world”.Scot: I am going with “Shut up and get me another beer!” ~Uncle John~Sandi: LOOK EVERY BODY!!! Sandi McBride was here! LOL! Thanks Sandi, I am glad you found my humble blog too. Every one should pay her a visit; she is a real live writer and not a want-to-be like me!
Very close. As a matter of fact I like that quote. I'm sure it is 5:30 or later in South Africa so sure, I'll take a cold one. Here's to Joan, who picks up lost men at the airport!!
LOL!! I am pleased to hear that Craig. I hope she doesn't get lost herself. :)
That's the title of the first chapter in my book :)) I love it...
what a great concept. the quote. worth thinking about and remembering. and thanks for your visit!
LOL!! They have to be very attractive though Scot and look like Superman AND have their own game farm. :)Your quote sound like something from Paint your Wagon. :) Oh, sorry, that was Wandering Star wasb't it. Unless of course you are calling me a star for picking up lost men .... then again, I am not wandering ... wait a bit, this is getting confusing. LOL!!
One of my favorite quotes..Life is Good T shirts use that quote.
I guess you would have to have been on of those kids that had the ole magic box baby sitter to get my hidden quote. I watched enough LoonyToons cartoons to get me through my life. One of the classic Bugs Bunny lines was "I should have turned right at Albuquerque."Sorry Craig for hi-jacking your blog for my own promotions...:)Well, I'm off to pickup lost women at the airport... oh wait, I can't. I still have a couple months left on that restraining order.
Now Scot, behave!! Where ever did you get that idea from of picking up women at airports? LOL!! Some bad influence on Craig's blog again I suppose. :)We never had Looney Tunes on our TV's as we must have got it 20 years after the rest of the world. Africa and all that you know. Talk about 4th world counthries, not even 3rd world. :)
